What is Microneedling? Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, naturally stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin without further damaging it. The goal is to develop smoother, tighter, overall healthier skin with a younger looking appearance. Microneedling helps with wrinkle and scar reduction for various to almost all skin types by breaking down old scar tissue and stimulating cell production as well as improved blood supply.

The device is slid along the skin, penetrating the upper layers of the skin to a safe depth of up to 2mm to create numerous tiny needle "wounds". The procedure tricks the body to respond to these "micro-injuries". In response to the stimulus, the skin plumps and thickens, reducing the appearance of scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. Growth serums or Hyaluronic Acid are used to create a gentle glide as well as supply beneficial hydration similar to the same kind of moisture already found in the face.
Through this process, your dermis remains intact. This technique can even be repeated safely due to its minimal evasiveness to the skin. Other procedures like laser treatments or deep chemical peels cannot be performed as often and may require a longer recovery period.
Can I do this at home?
Currently, Microneedling devices or rollers are being sold online for at home use. Phiz Spa does not recommend the use of these as it is easy to injure yourself if not applied properly. Rollers, by nature, do not create a direct in-and-out puncture, so tearing is very common. Not to mention that most homes do not follow the more extreme safety, sanitation or proper disposal that Phiz Spa implements.
Other advanced treatments include Microdermabrasion and LED Therapy. Combine all 3 for 10% off.
